The Challenge

Generic Coffee Shop Apps Lack Intelligence & Voice Ordering

Existing restaurant and coffee shop apps treat ordering as a transactional click-through. Customers can't ask natural questions, get personalised recommendations based on taste, or order hands-free via voice — creating friction and missed upsell opportunities.

•No conversational or voice-based ordering in mainstream café apps
•Generic menu display ignores individual preferences and past orders
•No AI assistant for product Q&A or dietary recommendations

Our Approach

React Native + FastAPI + Multi-Agent Voice AI Architecture

We built a React Native/Expo mobile frontend paired with a Python FastAPI backend, integrating a multi-agent AI system for voice-enabled ordering, natural language product Q&A, and AI-driven recommendations. The voice assistant uses STT/TTS to enable completely hands-free café ordering.
